Lionheads passed their first presentation to the ARBA standard comity. Lionheads
are a new breed not yet recognized by the ARBA until they have passed three
presentations. I myself have only had them for two years now. Their very
characteristic mane and sweet personalities are hard for rabbit lover to resist
having one. I must admit that they have a lot in common with the Hollands. This is
probably why several Holland breeders added Lionheads to their herds. Shortly
after my first few, I decided I wanted to start a competitive line for showing. My line
consists of mainly Wetzel's and Cimmaron. But also includes Mossypossum's,
Wildhaven, Setzke's, Prideland's, Peace Lane's, and Ayer's. Thank you to all those
pioneer breeders that have brought the Lionhead breed to where is today and
where it is going tomorrow. Congrats to Gail on the 1st pass.
