My name is Jared Smith. I have a medium size rabbitry of around 120 holes out of Chippewa Falls, WI. (90 min from Minneapolis and 3 hours
from Madison). I have been raising rabbits since 1998 but my brother and I started our ARBA show career in 2006. We named our operation
Smith Rabbitry. Due to his busy schedule with work and four kids, my brother got out of rabbits and I took it on solo and renamed myself
Conejito Loco (meaning Crazy Little Rabbit in spanish). A tribute to my much missed life in Puerto Rico. Where even abroad I had a rabbit,
whom my rabbitry is named after. Most of the holes are taken up by Holland Lops and Lionheads. I started toying with Tans in 2008. I also
have a handful of Netherland Dwarfs and Flemish Giants. My primary focus is on my Hollands. And within those my non-tort varieties get
most of my attention. The Lionheads are a secondary side project that I have lots of fun with (along with half the other holland breeders). LOL.
The other breeds are just for variety and fun and keeps me familiar with other breeds. I also raise bantam chickens and call ducks. See poultry
