                                                                                                Terms and Conditions of sale:

First off, I HAVE TO RIGHT TO CANCEL SALE FOR ANY REASON IF I AM UNCOMFORTABLE OR CONCERNED FOR THE ANIMALS' WELFARE.

      Pet Buyers:
I almost always have pet quality babies for sale or an adult that I want to retire to a pet home, prices vary. Pets are sold without pedigrees.  Pets are sold with the
understanding they are  NOT FOR THE PURPOSE OF BREEDING!!
There is a reason these rabbits are taken out of the gene pool. Usually genetic defects that
are not desired for show but have no effect on pet disposition. The are too many unwanted pet rabbits as a result of irresponsible breeding. See last paragraph.

Selling Procedure for Breeding and Show quality rabbits:

-You can request to be on my waiting list in order to receive an e-mail to let you know when I have the specific rabbit you are looking for.

-Accepted payment methods are Paypal, personal check with ID, cash, and money order.

-I guarantee all bunnies to be healthy at time of purchase and will replace them if they become sick within a week of purchase if you followed my guidelines. I do not
guarantee bunnies purchased from Fair shows since they can get sick from rabbits at the show.

-50% non refundable down required to hold a rabbit, anything held for 10 day or more may be subject to a boarding fee charge of $1.50 a day unless otherwise
discussed with me.

Shipping available:
-Shipping is an expensive but necessary method for long distances. There are several cost factors that go into the grand total. Cost of animal + Carrier + vet + air
travel+transpertation. So please be prepared.
-I am able to ship rabbits (weather permitting) out of MSP airport in Minneapolis, MN
-A $200 minimum rabbit order is required to have rabbits shipped
Costs breakdown in addition to cost of rabbit:
-Travel cost to airport. ~$40 depending on gas prices and parking.
-Each rabbit has to have a health certificate issued by a veterinarian to fly, this is $35 - $50 per a rabbit. I can get the cost down for multiple rabbits.
-Carrier for rabbits to fly in-cost is from $15-$65 depending on size and weight, includes food, feeders, and water bottles. These carrier can be reused and work great
for shows.
-Airline shipping costs range from $110-$300 for up to a 4 compartment carrier of rabbits.

NOTE:
I care for my animals' welfare and because of this again I will repeat
I reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone, at any time, especially if I have concerns over how
another will care for my bunnies
. I love to hear how my rabbits are doing so I try to call or email to check up on the bunnies purchased from me periodically to see how
they are doing.
All sales are final. If for any reason you are unable to care for animals purchased from me, they are welcome back if I have room. I try to encourage this as the
humane societies and shelter are so over populated as it is. Rabbit placement in these facilities are low and many are euthanized.

Thank you for your interest,
Jared Smith
What is Show Quality?

A rabbit that is considered "show" quality is one that VERY closely represents almost all of the traits in the breed standard according to ARBA.  These are very hard
to produce as a breeder. They represent years of work and selection for of certain traits.  Pairing rabbits together in such a way that they compliment each other.
We desire that their offspring produce the best traits of both parents and do not produce the faults of either parent. Typically this takes years of work and
experimentation and sometimes heartbreak.  A breeder usually wants these rabbits to be placed in show homes so that their hard work is demonstrated to other
breeders, validating their breeding program. Once in a while, a breeder will place one of these highly prized rabbits in a pet situation. They will be the most highly
sought after and
highly priced of available rabbits. Understanding the reasons behind this are important in understanding the appropriateness of the price.

*** Note:  Just because someone on the internet or in the newspaper classifies an animal as "show" quality does not make it so. Before you pay the "show" price,
take some time to ask the tough questions about what the breeder believes qualifies this rabbit as that quality. Any good breeder will be happy to discuss these
things with you. Otherwise, they are simply classifying the animal as show quality based on assumption and not experience. Several traits need to be present to put it
in the show quality status. Learning what makes the breed, the breed will teach your eye what traits are important to YOU.

What is Brood Quality?

Breeder Quality is a rabbit with enough excellent points that it is valued to pass them onto another generation. It probably has one or several traits that are not
extremely "flashy" which is desired for the show ring. There are so many rabbits in competition that it really must be the "Best of the Best" to be competitive. So,
things like type and or color or head shape or size limit might keep a rabbit from placing well in the show ring.  But if the remaining elements are excellent, it would be
a valued member of a breeding program.  Non disqualifying, non-severe faults typically makes them Breeder Quality.

What is Pet Quality?

Pet Quality is a very wide ranging category.  It can mean that a baby or adult has too than two show faults but the rest of the animal is excellent in quality. Or it may
mean that the rabbit has no qualities that should be passed on to progeny such as non showable colors, stray white spots or hairs, missing toes or nails, or
mismatching nails. So, as you can see, just because it is pet quality does not mean that it is not beautiful and would make a wonderful pet. You need to ask lots of
questions about what traits makes it Pet Quality vs. Breeder Quality. Pet Quality rabbit are not sold with a pedigree.
